I think this interior is superior to the LS430. Nicer than the LC500 as well. Maybe the best ever Lexus interior? LX470 was outstanding too from 2003-2007
The pictured Audi Q3 and Porsche Taycan have both been criticized for their plasticky exteriors in the press. That holds up in person although the Taycan's issues can be mitigated with additional options.
The interior of the Audi Q3 is at above those of other CUV's in the segment (Q3, X1, XC40, GLA etc.).
SC is perfect example of why I think Lexus does (or did) wood the best, that looks almost Bentley level. Along with the leather and carpet and the mesh speaker covering in there, SC430 was insane. The gauges were a letdown, only downside.

The LC is unmatched, these are really good but nowhere near that level.
A lot of it has to do with the color of the wood. I hate that blonde birds eye maple wood.
They brought back optitron gauges on the refresh SC430, and the wood trim on this car is much more attractive IMO
YOU hate that blonde wood. Doesn't mean everyone else does. I think that tone of that wood is drop dead gorgeous, different, and really makes the interior pop.
Your example the wood is boring to me, but yes still very high quality.

It's Bentley-esque which is why I like it so much, and probably just as high quality. Or nearly as high quality. Lexus didn't skimp on interiors from late 90s to early 2000s designs, we all know this. My car is 19 years old now and the wood inside it still stuns me, and it's just regular bird's eye maple.

‘’Just personal taste IMO. Not a fan of bright wood. I hate the ES330 red wood. Ugh. Gross
