I would just replace the seat bottoms. It’s not as expensive as one would think.

Yep. He did get them pretty good though, they look better in person. They were still wet in the pics. I'll grab some new ones next oil change.

But yeah. I hate I took delivery at night so I can't really see anything lol. There's a video where he emptied the shampooer.....looked like toxic waste lol.

His floor mats are shot!
I have the Silver interior and went with OEM Lexus black floor mats- looks awesome.

Impossible for me to keep Silver mats clean.

That can be done no problem.
But, the leather is high quality and can be stripped and redyed like new again.

Thats what the used car dealers do when they prep the cars for sale.

Sorrry gents for off topic, doing my best,,,

There's no reason in the world to do that, nothing wrong with them and they're cushy as day 1. Many LS430s have loose looking bottom seat cushions, the leather. It's like they designed the leather one size too big.

Issue there is the leather won’t match, I would have an upholstery shop refinish the whole seats.

new ones will make it look way better.

That’s another reason why I like black interiors. Once the light carpets get dingy looking, they can’t be brought back.

The leather is gathered, that’s the way it’s supposed to look. Just a look that’s out of style.

Agree. My friend wants me to replace the grey floor mats with black but I don't really care for it.

A wood/leather wheel is a must have for me.

I'm getting one imported along with wood/leather grab handles and a wood shifter for my W12, I can totally understand passing on a 100k+ car that is not to your exact spec. I'm pick as hell and I buy used lol! I passed on 12+ cars when looking for the 460 since I had extremely specific requirements

Yeah I don’t like that either.

when you get the new mats, get some Carpro Fabric 2.0 and treat them with that.

Yeah, I agree. I think it’s a shame that fewer and fewer cars come with them. I even liked the color of that one better and still passed because of the wood/leather wheel lol

It is odd, I get it that the trend is full leather/alcantara but it just doesn't have the visual enjoyment factor or the touch factor. It's quite important to get what you like as well since you will literally be constantly interacting with the wheel every time you are using the car. I like alcantara a lot on stuff like the door cards and headliner etc....but it can stay WELL away from my wheel or seats.

What I really wish could be done is the option to pick the wood you want down to the pattern/actual sections beforehand and adjust the orientation to your tastes. Only Bentley and Rolls offers that though, but they will do literally anything you ask provided you have standing and $$$$

Absolutely. I also like that you can spot the wood wheel in an LS430 coming a mile away (exaggerating...but sorta you can). Screams luxury. Feels great in your hands which also screams luxury.

I don't blame you and am surprised the salesman was shocked you HAD to have a wood wheel. Not everyone agrees but wood steering wheels just scream "luxury car". I wouldn't go without it either.

What he should have done was find a way to make it have a wood wheel...example 342 why car salespeople are terrible salespeople.

Id rather have a full leather steering wheel. Plus, they look out of date in the modern era IMO
