I just don't see what everybody thinks is so odd about the D pillars. Yeah they're a little thick...but it doesnt look unusual to me at all
Recent crossovers and SUVs have larger, thicker rear roof-pillars for a reason. All else equal, their higher center of gravity makes them more prone to tips or rollovers, and the larger pillars help give more roof-strength. Roof cave-ins are one of the leading causes of injuries/deaths in rollovers....and it is impractical to install roll-bars in SUVs like in convertibles.

My only concern is that it portrudes/sticks out too much. Personally, I wish the rear bumper was longer to balance that overly heavy-looking D-Pillar. But it's not a "make or break" I still think overall it looks decent.
I'm looking at PHEV, kinda disappointed, I was hoping the range around 50+ miles.
THat sounds like a reach to me. I'm not really familiar with PHEV range, but are there any vehicles (car or SUV) that can get close to 50 miles on EV power?

Early reviews are out. So far the driving impressions are pretty good. Still tight in 2nd and 3rd rows.
The third row in the Redline Review video looked downright claustrophobic. Around 25:50 Sofyan goes into the 3 seat bench in the 3rd row and even kids would be crunched back there. Even in the 2 seat 3rd row his feet barely fit under the 2nd row seats.
