This is a luxury car forum, we have an appreciation for things that are often superfluous and sometimes failure-prone. And I’ve never had a power accessory break on any of my ancient cars.
I've considered turning off the auto-folding mirrors on my BMW because i'm worried about wear on the motors.
My '14 328's folding mirrors are still going strong....but I never coded them to automatically fold, and now that my son is the primary driver, he never uses that function FWIW.
I find my memory systems extremely useful/nice, only thing I don't use is the auto seat back/forward thing. The keys also saving is a good feature but my wife and I have our own cars and the other person barely drives the other car.

I love the auto seat backwards. My wife is pretty short and the way she sits in a car I can barely squeeze in the drivers seat after she’s driven the car so the auto seat backwards is a must for me.
I’ve mentioned this many times but after having my 2016 IS350 without memory seats/tilt I won’t own another car without at least memory seats. It was the most annoying thing about that car and gave me more appreciation for it. As someone said, these are luxury cars with luxury features. I would bet a majority of buyers in this class of car want power features and the ones that don’t are in the minority.
The thing is I’m 6’5” so I already have the seat pretty far back, the auto exit feature I’ve experienced in cars scoots the seat all the way back in its tracks behind the B pillar making it harder to get out.

I'm 6'4" and have never had a vehicle where the seats go too far back. What are you driving?
I do like the Tesla "Easy Out" feature they have. My wife is 5'2". We at first didn't program that on her profile. I couldn't even get in then. I had to lean in and select my profile, which was a PITA.

I'm 6'4" also, and in my old E46 3-series as well as my current M3, if I put the seat all the way back, I can't get the clutch pedal to the floor without flexing my ankle and/or contorting my hips.
In an Explorer we rented last summer, the "easy exit" feature wanted to take the seat back at least 6" from my preferred seating position.

2010 GS 350. And most German cars allow me to put the seat considerably further back than I’d want to drive, but I like to rest my elbow on the armrest, and have the steering wheel within a comfortable reach.
I like auto exit too but I'd prefer not to run the seat motors like that constantly.
I've never even turned it on since I've had my LX.
I have memory seats in my new 4R. I never programmed it. I have never really liked such thing, especially if you mix up your keys. Everyone is different i guess. A power wheel is a nice touch. Even more special is those motorized seat belts like in your Lexus 420
I have a soft touch rear hatch (like luxury car side doors)… I’m like MF better not break and if it does I better be able to slam it shut
