The weight is obscene should have never been a production vehicle weighing in at 9000 pounds. The MPGe rating is 47!!!! Epic fail.

 

Not to mention you'd have to avoid crappy bridges. Ever seen Funny Farm when the movers try to cross one??

 

47 MPGe for something that obscenely big and heavy with 1000 HP? That's awesome! A Toyota Prius is like 55 MPG...what you talkin about Willis!!

 

Check out this rare sighting I had today, Lincoln Blackwood

 

Yes, they are pretty rare. From what I understand, only 1000 of them were built. I've only seen one of them myself locally......in my local Giant Food lot.

And it doesn't take a genius to figure out why it didn't sell. Who would buy a truck, designed to work, with rare African Blackwood for trim? That makes about as much sense as a submarine with screen doors LOL.

It is interesting, however, that, before the 1950s, true wood-paneled station-wagons (not just a side-decal) were popular, but they weren't using rare expensive woods like Lincoln did for that truck.

So Wilson got to ride in the Mercedes for the first time today! He has a little eye infection and my wife and kids are at the beach with the van...so I got to take him to the vet...
