I remember! Beige only, there were only beige and black choices until 2016.. That was a nice shade of blue.. the pre-refresh LS430s also had a nice baby blue. I was sitting in the DMV parking lot admiring it once, I'm not a fan of pre-refreshed 430s but it looked very classy and regal.
I don't personally think black would look great with baby blue.
Absolutely better. The clear is a little soft but it's VERY nice
That Bentley is a V8 3rd gen btw, the grill is the giveaway. Similar engine as my 4.0TT A8 (EA825 vs 824) and same platform minus length in some areas as the Panamera, the state of tune is that of the S8 stock and it's the best "bang for the $$$$" option from them.
Now this could all be wrong if they optioned the brightwork differently. Can you get a picture of the rear? The exhaust pipes are a really good clue and I think they never changed the configurations so the style will confirm the engine type.....usually though no W12 badge means it's a V8 since the Hybrid is easy to ID

Something that I completely forgot Volkswagen once had a twelve cylinder crossover. I can’t think of any other mainstream manufacturer that offered something similar. I respect that
Its absurdly rare and cool AF, sounds amazing and if I never happen across a manual trans version I'm buying it. A manual wagon variant is one of the few cars actually rarer than my W12

Don't forget that the Audi version of this chassis had the V12 TDI since that was Audis "thing" but we never got it here.
I also never really looked into the W12 MK1 T-reg too much since I can't have one yet but lord that's a much more agreeable engine bay than the V10 is! Looks far easier to work on

That car was cooler in concept than in practice. I hated driving the manual W8 sedan. The gear ratios are all wrong and the gearbox itself is unsatisfying.
VW has done some cool stuff. Remember the W8 Passat? Sedan AND Wagon!
i've only heard the worst things about owning one of those cars lol... the W8 always gets classified as 'infamously unreliable' but i wouldn't be surprised if things are exaggerated about that
