Tundra TRD is slower than the old one with the V8!!! Talk about a shot in the foot.. It's only a tenth, but still. 401lb/feet vs. 583? And it's being beaten?
No replacement for displacement!!! According to C&D, my LX570 from 2014 has the same 0-60 time.
The new Tundra has self a levelling rear suspension and the frame is now fully boxed. Helps out. But the hybrid is like 500-600lbs heavier. I think the performance is a wash. But handling should be better. I still can’t believe Toyota left out the full time 4WD system that they have on the 1st and 2nd Gen Sequoia

The current long term Hybrid Limited that C&D is testing is 6,072 lbs. My V8 Tundra is a hair over 6k lbs. C&D lists the non-hybrid limited at 5,856 lbs (and 6.1 seconds to 60).

Tire blowout saga on the LS460 is concluded now, Costco pro-rated the blown tire and charged $100 for a new one. New was 10/32nds and the old set was at 7.2/32, exactly on track to hit rated 45k mile lifespan.
Got the new one broken in with a heavy burnout and some limiter runs as well.
I know that's what's in the publication, but try to find a 2021 1794 at 5670 lbs. There are none. The ONLY option mine has is a sunroof. Toyota's says my curb weight on my truck is 6,015 lbs (per door jamb sticker). I've confirmed that at the CAT scales.
These old CLKs must be tanks, I see tonnnns of these, more convertibles than coupes. And look, the owner sprung for the V8!!!
These GLSs look good, I really like the red here. But it’s the American biggies that just make this invisible, this isn’t half as bossy as an Escalade or Navi, Denali. IMO at least.
TX delivery. Again, these look really good in the flesh. Too bad the engines suck.
those old CLKs do actually feel very solid, but i don't think they look nearly as good as the gen that followed though
Interesting, I could NOT disagree more. First gen CLK is gorgeous, especially the coupe. Second gen I didn't like at all what they did with the lights front and rear. I like that the original CLK was a convertible but had the hood emblem. I'm thinking they removed it and gave it a bigger grill emblem for the second generation? My friend had a couple and I don't remember a star on the hood.

Oh me too, I like Caddies as we all know but na-na. R129 superior in every way, shape, and form other than no retractable hardtop.

well this is probably just a result of us naturally preferring our respective benz eras lol... again you'll probably disagree but i think the first gen CLK is clearly a more retro product from a different time period, whereas the 2nd gen i think still looks modern today, and probably still will in another 10 years
