This is crazy! Wonder how it feels to drive... VW's engineering arm has fallen a long ways since the Piech/pre-dieselgate era... Wonder how many more prototypes and secret projects there must be that have never been shown to the public...

And hah, ditto!! More common car but there was a white S-Class just like yours, black interior parked that drove through my neighborhood yesterday. I didn't see it for long because it whizzed past but it was sharp. I almost took a pic. It had your rims and everything.
Just FYI for everyone, it seems birds/geese/whatever like to do their business as they just fly off if you're ever around them like I was, etc.. I seriously couldn't believe how bad my car got hit today, never in my life have I seen it that bad. They come over from the ponds in the golf course and sit in the main road... then fly off when traffic comes and drop on everyone. I'm reallllly glad I wasn't a pedestrian.
We just both have excellent taste lol
Oh man mine got DESTROYED by seagulls at the beach one night. We had driven down to the boardwalk and it’s at an inlet between the bay and the ocean, always a ton of seagulls. It was like 40 seagulls just unloaded on it. Luckily there is a good touch less wash in OC that got it all off

Disgusting but it almost happened to me. We had a school event for my kids and I was sitting on the bumper with the tailgate up on my old Durango and heard something hit the tailgate loudly so I lowered it and saw two big spots like that. It was fresh and disgusting to clean off.
Birds always appreciate a sparkling clean surface to... do business on. They kind of loose interest if it's been driven in the rain or has been otherwise "soiled" - unless it's just slightly dusty (enough for you to not want to just spot clean it with a QD since it'll be a clean spot on a dusty car ^^).
Speaking of car washes.. Has anybody considered one of those foam blasters for washing your car at home? I have been seeing some YouTube vids on them and they look pretty awesome. Here's one from Chemical Guys https://www.chemicalguys.com/torq-fo...6/ACC_326.html
Legit reviews (not promos) of these are showing that you can spray it on, let it sit for a minute or two, and rinse it off. Using a mit/sponge/brush not required. I'd consider dropping my monthly car wash subscription if it's truly that easy.

i hate cleaning cars but this works pretty well.
I'll settle for that. :-).
The amount of crap (literally lol) that was was crazy. If I got hit as a pedestrian from that mess I would have been heavily covered (and pissed). I wasn't even aware it was that bad until my McDonalds drive thru friend was like "what's wrong with your car???"

Cool, thanks Bit and Steve. I might pick up one of these. Bit - looks like the one you linked is for use with pressure washers. I think the one I posted is for regular hoses.
This could help me eliminate the car wash subscription for at least 1/2 the year here. My kids would probably enjoy using this and would help wash our cars. I don't want to be the one washing my car in the dead of summer, will gladly pay for that to be done elsewhere.

You need to have a pressure washer for these to be impressive. I have both. Not going to replace your carwash subscription, the proper way to use this is to foam the car down, let it dwell and run off some of the contaminants then wash as normal with a bucket and mitt. This adds time to the process doesn't subtract time.
