Your auxiliary battery is probably failing.

I got warnings like this on my recent German vehicles. Most of the time they were "phantom" warnings that went away with a restart. But not the case for you apparently. Funny, my Lexus don't do this. Did you get it in for the vibration yet?

 

Even LX? I'm pretty sure it's at least a heavy duty battery. It has a regular plug outlet in the back for whatever and tailgate with speakers, etc. Like it's encouraging camping with music and plugging something in to use or whatever, ice maker. They came out and replaced our LX battery a year ago but I didn't pay attention to anything but he did say it was heavy duty or something of the kind.

 

Sure but he should use them anyway, the only car I have that isn't using one is my Jeep since I want it to have a low cell count/thick plate traditional unit. Those do better sitting for 4-5 months as the Jeep tends to do in summer when I'm exclusively using the cars. For anything you have on tenders/normal usage AGM is just better and actually lasts very long with hard use.

 

Thats the Pacifica not the S Class, the warning I posted. It goes back in for the vibration on Monday.

No Lexus uses an AGM battery to my knowledge, they all use lead acid batteries.

Oh I would always replace one with an AGM battery, I just don't know if AAA carries them on their trucks like that.

LOL, I would hardly consider an engine vibration with one car and a warning light on another car "a bunch of vehicle problems", but whatever you say.

For clarity's sake, AGM is still a Sealed Lead Acid battery. The chemistry is exactly the same. The construction is only subtly different. The alternative term you're looking for is "flooded battery". Those are the "traditional" ones where the electrolyte (acid) solution can move about freely in the space not occupied by the plates.

In an AGM, there is a fiberglass mat inserted between the plates that holds the electrolyte in place.
