Watching Lost World Jurassic Park on Showcase. (Back when Spielberg was good). Anyone remember the product placement of the Mercedes ML320? I liked this car. Body on frame?
I never understood why MB went away from the name ML
Voila! Best Christmas gift ever. Water heater successfully moved and we have both cars in! Opened up much more room than I thought! My lord now we REALLY will never sell our house, that was the only real negative.
Just in time for the 5 degree low we are having tonight, we aren’t escaping this crazy vottex down south. Half of Knoxville is going to freeze to death bc many have heat pumps and not gas.

Ultra rare 105-series Land Cruiser, not a 100 series..not a 200…but a factory 105 chassis . Solid front axle and a solid rear axle. Symmetrical 4WD. MANUAL diesel.

Oh man, sounds harsh.
Currently I'm at a hotel in a small town of Hardeeville, SC and drove 450 miles today until the 2 lane on I-95 and a 5 car wreck slowed traffic down.
It was 3:30 pm and only had a couple hours of daylight left I can drive so played it safe and pulled in and got a hotel.
Only problem, kids are saying freezing rain coming in at noon tomorrow in foothills of NC where I'm headed and that's almost 300 miles away and can't drive till daybreak so it will be close.

.
As crazy as that price is, I can see someone buying it.
I mean, aesome truck but at $66k it robs so much perceived value compared to a newer body on frame due to age.
I don't know but guessing they will sell it no prob.

They are so dang cool despite also being so so so bad in other ways....
I actually still have a 2002 ML500 I use as a beater car. It’s been in the family since new and well maintained at 120k. The poor thing’s paint has perhaps seen better days but it’s survived a lot of years of living outside and being loaned to teen drivers in the family. Many, many rock chips and a few small dings but mechanically sound. The interior in particular has held up ridiculously well.
Summer tires and some paint etc....I also have water lines to the garage fridge and a hot/cold water tap on the house side wall. The latter should be fine since it gets heat from the actual house side but I don't like my cars to see actual freezing temps if I can avoid it. My garage is also fully finished with insulation so I don't want the wood trim/paint etc to have risk of cracking/shifting.
