Yep, it does. That may very well be my next car...
I like it. They even have seats that come out to sit on the tailgate. The standard engine competes well with the LX600 but RR wisely kept the V8 and crazy expensive trims which annihilates it in every way.. I hear these take off from lights all the time, the exhaust sounds great. When we were talking about ubiquitous SUVs around our area, RRs are definitely up there in the top echelon around here.
From what I've seen/read, split lights are not coming. I read that is "reserved" for top models. Not that I have an issue with it. I've seen new X7 and i7. Somehow they don't seem to bother me.
I still find the new 7 ugly, but the refresh X7 looks fine. I think them "reserving" the split lights for top models is a win for the X5 lol

I probably would get the 6. Lots of reviews say the car feels better with the 6 and that the 8 makes it nose heavy and impacts the ride. I would drive both, obviously first. I would also have to buy that car to get the 179 deduction and I would have to keep it for 5 years, and the BMW V8 has a terrible reliability reputation.
It has come down pretty dramatically since getting close to $7 over the summer. But now, even with our fuel tax suspended for another two weeks, our most recent fill was $4.699. Not looking forward to January.

I believe that the 8 cylinder in the RR is the older N63, not the same one that's in the refreshed X7 which is the S68. Another reason to avoid the V8.

Yeah it is much better...its helping inflation numbers too...

Um, avoid *any* BMW with a V8 lol. But in my Range Rover I'd want the fastest most powerful one.
For 130 more HP? Yeah, that's worth it plus in theory they have fixed the reliability issues this time.
I'd do the same. The N63 has had several updates since the original version that made headlines and, while I still wouldn't trust it long-term, 5 years would be an easy bet for me to make. I'd tack on 1 year of additional warranty to limit my exposure and enjoy the damn thing.
I'm still on the fence on the Range Rover personally. They only have low option models out and I haven't gotten to properly test drive a loaded one. I do have a friend that has one already but it's sitting at the dealer as something is wrong with his ABS and traction control. No ETA for a fix date yet as they can't get parts...
I was behind one of these. I saw an X6 the other day and thought it was weird. This thing is beyond weird. Or am I weird? Hope they won't destroy the X5 with the LCI.

I don't like most of these "fastback" crossovers; Porsche does it well; the Audi Q5 Sportback isn't bad. But BWMs and MBs--I just don't like any of those offerings when they slice the hatch off....
I'm aware of that very well. I was referring to the change from the previous one, the black part in the bumper. The front also looks odd but not as bad as this. The X6 I saw the other day also had a change in the rear. They both look very out of place. Overall I don't like or hate X6/GLE Coupe. X4 before this change did look fine IMO.
Oh, I think this is the BMW trend if you get an M-Sport line of their vehicles. I just bought a new X1 and the black rear bumper treatment on the M-Sport version was a complete non-starter for me.

How do you like your X1 so far? As we discussed in an earlier thread they've made some big improvements over the previous gen which I had.
