Flimsy but gets the job done, barely lol

I been driving around for 2 years with my cell phone on my lap.
Those ones from ebay loose their grip and the articuating arm gets loose very fast and I've thrown several in the trash and gave up.

I like the black one and it's cheapest and could've already bought it twice for what I spent already. lol
Ordering this weekend.

 

If they can make one that attaches to the same point as the one I currently have, I'll buy one. I've seen them before and they look top quality

 

Oh, almost forgot, most of these Kudas are the "console" part only, the phone holder is separate that attaches to the console, I use the ones from Proclips.

Not sure where to get that or how it works with the holder and not trying hijack thread so I'll check into it.

What base plate combo from them do you use? I assume there is no reason to buy the car side of one since the KUDA takes care of that? Their integrated charging plus the KUDA will be a seamless install for sure, I actually may take the time to do a write up on routing everything on a few of the cars. EDIT: OMG they have a hard wired option! This can't get any better!

I'm thinking I may have saved one of my old ones thinking I could repair it.
I have to use the ones with a long articulating arm to reach all way down to the cigarette lighter port and it's quite ridiculous but hey it works unti it doesn't.

If I can find it I'll go ahead and post up a pic just so ya'll can have a good laugh.

If I see phone mounted hardware in a car, I want to pull over that car and rip it out. Lol

 

Thats just silly, if the phone is safely mounted, you can make phone calls via bluetooth, music, gps, and not much different than using built in radio/infotainment.

Even on a motorcycle if I'm going for joy ride on unfamiliar roads I have maps open on the phone, it really helps to judge speed for otherwise blind curves.
