I'm curious to know why this matters to you. You're not going to get an EV anytime soon as you've stated multiple times, so whether Tesla ever has an EV truck for sale or not shouldn't matter right? 🤔

Nobody is saying Elon isn't bold or brilliant, but getting a vehicle down to 10 microns tolerances at a reasonable cost is not realistic. Yes, I'm skeptical until he proves me wrong, and then I'm not

Below is a 6 micron fiber resting on a human hair, which is 50 microns thick:

Is that realistic tolerances for a vehicle? Possibly, but I can't see that being cheap. Sorry, call me Mr. Skeptic

I'm talking about Cybertruck going into production which many still think won't happen.

Ok, got it 👍. Oh it's going to happen, Tesla has invested Billions in Cyber truck production. Tesla is a company that doesn't do vanity projects like the LFA (awesome car BTW) that lost $375k per vehicle. They are 1000 percent about producing vehicles at large margins. It's coming, and probably soon

It doesn't. As you can see that's post #2 or 3 of mine in EV forums. EVs mean very little to me.

However, am I not allowed to ask a question?? It's a free country.

I don't tell you what should or shouldn't matter to you as a consumer. I'm honestly curious if it will ever come out at all. I just heard they had to potentially redo a bunch of stuff.

That was fake news based on a leaked email from Elon. One of the people spreading this has about as much auto design experience as I do, and I have none

I have no right to tell anyone not to ask any questions and that's not what I did here.

I don't think you're interested at all in whether it ever comes out as you've asked this question multiple times already. I've already showed you pictures of the trucks on carriers. Yet you still ask the exact same question over and over.

Clearly it's not just a "question" - it's entirely something else you have in mind.

What's your question? I haven't seen more than just trolling posts from you in this thread. If you have a legit question, please ask.

I just went back and read his post. He didn't actually ask anything lol.

He just said he doesn't believe the Cybertruck will ever be made and will only believe it when he sees it.

To which I said , why does that even matter when he has clearly said he hates EVs and would never buy one anyway...

Wow, glad I don't hang out in here. I can't have an opinion without it being trolling?

I've posted about 3 things in EVchat. I don't have to buy something to have an opinion, and y'all are so defensive.... I just said I'll believe it when I see it, then I got jumped. We've been waiting on this thing for like 6 years, excuse me all over the place.

What the hell are you talking about? Multiple times? Other than this lovely thread here please find the last post where I mentioned the CT. Please, I beg of you.

So what are you accusing me of exactly here? Exercising my free will? I didn't even say anything bad about the CT, just the correct fact that it's been delayed for years and years and years.

The way I take Elon's demand is simply he expects excellence. I met with his CIO years ago in Redmond. Elon is a pusher and runs a slave shop.
Are his demands insane? Sure, and that's why he is the richest man in the world, has the most valuable car company in the world by far and several other insanely incredible companies (Neuralink).
Everyone else seems to be stuck in reality and going nowhere.

Just my opinion guys, but we should all be more inclusive and let people express their opinions and keep this sub forum open to everyone. Although AJT and I don't always see eye to eye, he's not wrong that the Cyber truck was announced in November 2019 and we are still waiting for it's official release. Even if he's totally anti EV, he should be able to express himself as long as he's not flame baiting.

Anyway, just my thoughts

I struggle with math (about the worst thing when you're a coder) but I don't think Cybertruck is 6 years late.

Everyone wants to work for Tesla they get an insane amount of job applications. People that can't cut it at Tesla go on to work for Apple.
