There's one in our neighborhood. No, it's not mine; the Tundra is just fine!

As suspected, Cybertruck will probably become one of the best off-roaders for its size:
https://insideevs.com/news/702917/te...hill-off-road/

People have been talking about Model Y and Model S being good "off road" for a century, so to expect that Cybertruck will be a failure was hilarious to read. Now prepare to be annoyed with a ton of articles it being better than anything else.

Most people dont realize that Tesla has put even manual lockers both front and rear on every Cybertruck AWD.

Keyword is “for its size”. I have no doubt Tesla can make a great off-roader, the design of the EV platform is actually excellent for AWD/off-road use and their cars are incredibly rigid. But the CT is huge, very hard for a suburban sized vehicle to be good off-road unless it’s a field.

Isn't the CT around the size of a half ton pick up?

Article said the CT had 17 inches of ground clearance in extract mode, that is impressive. A big benefit is no scratches from bushes. Rear wheel steering should help with its maneuverability. I know smaller wheelbase is still usually better off reading though.

The videos made me feel like it was being filmed on mars because of the landscape and how the cybertruck looks like it's from 2150 lol.

It’s about the size of a crew cab 1/2 ton truck, same issue there though with the length.

But of course, what else can it be. It can only be the best in its size/weight class.

Same way the Lucid Sapphire can only be the best in its weight class.

Say what? Have you never used Stainless Steel anything in your entire life? It scratches like crazy. Watch the Munro Live tour of the Cybertruck plant to see the insane level of care they put into ensuring the body panels don't get scratched before or during assembly. LegitStreetCars also has a video where they use a plastic brush on a power drill to re-grain the body of a DeLorean.

You know after posting this I thought about it and said hmm can't recall scratching any of my stainless steel appliances but my stainless steel pots do get scratched lol. I guess time will tell. I wonder how easy it will be to get scratches out. Imo I would rather my stainless still gets scratched than paint.
