in that video around 19 minutes in they're predicting CTs will be ~70k by end of year.
Tesla could have built the best EV truck, hands down, but it would have been conventional. Just the shape of it took a lot of engineering to overcome. Yes, they are selling a lot of them right now, but to people who want to be noticed and have money to throw away. That has a finite life because flashy people are always moving on to the "next thing"

you can tell by the wraps people are putting on them that they want all the 'look at me' attention they can get.
as the guy in the video at the end said, it looks kind of dated already.
i think that the 'always' discolored/inconsistent steel coloring.

i thought the other guy's take on the r1t was brutal... a tacoma for $70k.

That's what I fear too.

I think they were hoping to set a new trend in truck styling and others will follow but I'm not seeing it happening.

Or, maybe they just wanted to be forever different, I don't know

I mean, that's only $4k more than an actual Tacoma:

I didn't "as Built" anything for that. The only option included is a $500 color that was already selected when I opened the configurator.

i'm no taco expert (and haven't looked obviously) but wouldn't the trd pro version have a lot of (off road type) things an r1t wouldn't?

Stock R1T is very capable off road. At that price the dual motor wouldn’t be as good as the quads but still very solid with the air suspension and available modes

That seems like a really odd location to store a bunch of CT's. Or any new vehicles really.

^^^ your video to make the cybertruck look bad (by idiots loading a truck).

here's a video showing 2500lb load and it goes just fine. you have to click link to view it as can't be embedded.

🧐 I take it you’re aren’t talking to me. If you are, clearly you didn’t watch the video I posted above yours.

lol. i absolutely did watch all the video you posted. it shows eejiots loading a cybertruck in a way likely to destroy most of that drywall either on impact in the bed or the drive home. they also could have raised the suspension BEFORE loading it. you might want to read the hilarious comments.

the video i posted showed someone competent with a fork lift. not sure what that cargo was though.

LOL I was focused on the size of the load and auto leveling suspension. They probably cracked a few boards. LOL

The video you posted was even more weight but the guy stated he didn’t drive it anywhere. Not a fan of the design of the truck but I find it interesting, the videos at least.

When I loaded the car trailer on our LX I think the manual stated to start in low height and allow the system to auto level. Maybe same way for the Tesla truck
