I wonder if he had ever driven an EV before this. A lot of the "OMG" moments seem to come from the very different driving feel and that feeling of endless torque and acceleration with no hesitation.

selling his cybertruck because he thinks prices are going to crash.

irony: his sponsor is a debt management company.

Hoovie is 100% clickbait. Absolutely unwatchable.

maybe so (not someone i watch) but one of his predictions i think is likely, that at some point tesla will drop the price a lot leaving initial buyers with a big drop in value.

are you exercising your order reservation? after all, it's free now after your $TSLA gains.

Well they’re all going to have a 20k lower MSRP as soon as Tesla decides to stop selling them as Foundation Series. They won’t come with some of the “extras”, but the big one can be rented anyway. After that’s taken out of the equation,Tesla has played around with the MSRP for everything it sells, in both directions, so you can assume Cybertruck is going to see adjustments as well.

whether I’ll get mine is TBD. Nothing has changed since the last time I posted about it: It’s not any better than my Lightning in most respects and markedly worse in some, I like my Lightning more today than when I first bought it (and it’s seen some significant OTA updates), and my wife still refuses to allow a Cybertruck on our driveway. Have to make a decision soon, either way. Getting calls from my sales advisor to complete the registration paperwork.

What's stopping you from making your decision today? I'm just curious as it seems to be a foregone conclusion at this point.

Because I’ve had the order in since the launch event in November 2019, and I’ve waited a long time for it. The Lightning was announced a year and a half later in May 2021, and my launch day reservation was delivered in summer of 2022. So at the time of the CT order I didn’t expect to have a different EV truck when it became available. That’s much of the dilemma along with my wife’s objections. She really doesn’t like them.

Just get the new Quad R1T when it's out early 25 .1 second faster than the CT!

Went from seeing 1 the past 2 months, to seeing 5 Cybertrucks in a day yesterday. Lol. 2 of them were wrapped (Black and Dark Red). Still don't like them, but they really stand out. Lol

I work in Fremont, not too far from the Tesla Fremont factory, and I see at least 3 a day. There's someone who has one that works in one of the buildings nearby, so I see him (or her) daily pulling in or pulling out of the parking lot

I watched a few videos of the Cybertruck over the weekend. I think it's pretty damn neat!

Don't know how practical it'll be in place of a Ford or GM that you won't mind if the bed gets dinged up, but just the overall look is pretty awesome. At least to me.

Aren't they going to release lower trims with less power? I would be perfectly content with a truck that has 300 hp. I wouldn't ever need a 600 hp monster like the lower existing trim has.

You need a lot of power to lug all the weight.

There are no colors - period. It's bare stainless steel. That's it
