I believe there is an internal policy that Hendrick dealers must sell at MSRP, though they can add addendums for Tint, Nitrogen etc..
I picked Hendrick because that’s the image backdrop of the $80k example ajt kept complaining about, not sure if they were the flipper or someone else using the stock photo from the original purchase

I'm sure its a used one with like 400 miles they are selling at a huge markup, like the $40k Maverick I found
To be fair, you did kinda make a big deal about it, lol

I quitttte like this new Tundra but do I think it’s as good as an updated Sierra Denali, no.
Edit: Look at this ad and how cheap and plasticky the grill looks…for 80 grand.

I never said it was MSRP, just that it was crazy that I saw that for 80k.
That's been happening with the outgoing models too, especially the TRD Pro. On the outgoing version, the TRD is a lower model (it's based on the SR5 trim) and when new, had an MSRP of around $55k. New 2021 TRD Pros on the lots right now are frequently listed at about $75k. That's $75k for a truck without auto climate control, cooled seats, sunroof, etc.

Yep. For a 15 year old truck, that reallllly says something about Toyota (trucks) to me. I still drool at the nice ‘21 Tundras and think they look amazing.

It doesn't help that there's a stop-sale on the 21s right now, so people haven't been able to buy the 21s in a while, despite them being on the lots. On the Tundras forum there are several people trying to get 21s, but the dealers can't sell them yet. I think the dealers are going to cash in on that pent up demand.
Power steering gear assembly recall. They aren't releasing those on the lots because of the recall, and it was the last batch of Tundras built that are on it.

I wonder if people are going to fight over the last batch once they become available. Not literally. I know that V8 sucks gas but damn if it's not a great engine.
