2022 Lexus LX600 (4th gen)
The dual screen setup is a bit weird, and I guess Lexus didn't see how terrible the Acura system was. It also looks like the software of the two screens were designed by two different companies. It just doesn't look well integrated.
Something tells me the price point will have a cheaper MSRP starting price
I like it a lot! Love the shifter, having two cars with e-shifters now I hate them. Give me an old school shifter any day.
Lexus logos on the headrests are a little gauche. Grille is a little blingy, but overall I will absolutely drive this and consider it when the time comes.

and i thought you'd only want a real 3 row vehicle?

between that, old shifter and wasted space on center console, it's one hot mess. my LC isn't great either functionally (1 cupholder?) but it does at least look awesome.

Yeah no chance its going to be cheaper lol
Apparently!
Not for my vehicle. I wouldn't have an issue with something that is only 2 rows. I wouldnt buy this to replace the Pacifica, it would replace the S560.
LOL, it has a chunky, offroady look to the controls.
wow, you've become quite the contrarian as you might be the only one here who likes it 'a lot'.

what do you mean by beefy?
I love it, and I like the gradual evolution and maturation of the Lexus exterior design language. Out of all of the new redesigns my favorite is the IS F-Sport, but this really good too.
For all of the haters of the dual screen, I hate to say it, but this is the way of the future. It started with Tesla removing all physical controls and the legacy manufacturers are following suite. You'll have to stop being dinosaurs and adapt to the new world.

Criticism on the double screen has nothing to do with being a dinosaurs. Other manufacturers have come up with different solutions that look better. Essentially duplicating what Infiniti and Acura did several years ago will naturally bring out detractors. I can only hope it’s well integrated from a usability standpoint.
Serious love/hate with both the interior and exterior here. It seems like this interior was designed ages ago and with all the delays, they couldn't do anything about it. Just doesn't match at all with what we are seeing with the likes of the new NX. Completely different and dated design language in my opinion.
But I also like some of the interior elements here such as the extensive use of leather and color selection.
Standard grill is intense. The grill takes up 90 percent of the entire front end. But somehow to me it looks marginally better in F trim and I don't mind it there.
Also where is the rear bumper? Lol
For a flagship SUV, this is wildly underwhelming to me. Lexus hasnt amazed me in years and it's so sad.

‘The Taycan screens looks “world class”. The new LX just looks bad. The design is the bigger problem. Add in the terrible shifter. The dials. The cupholders. #fail

The Audi dual screen setup is nice, even though they are moving away from it. It makes sense to be able to write out phrases on the bottom screen to input something on the top screen. But like I said before, the software visually is completely different top and bottom. They used the GUI from the rear seat controls of the LS while using their new "android" or "ford sync" looking software for the top screen. So weird.
The two screens isn't the issue, it's the infotainment software. Do we know if this LX is using the new infotainment software from the NX? From these press photos it looks like the same unit currently in the ES and IS and other older models sans the touchpad. Goes to show just how haphazardly planned this vehicle was when it comes out the door with an already-out-of-date infotainment.
