I don't think it diminishes their prestige at all. When i see black escalade limos i think power, prestige, and secret service people.

i was never a huge fan of the new navigator, and now it looks positively archaic next to this new escalade.

When you see a lot of them and ride in a lot of them in that service capacity it just makes them invisible IMHO

put this interior in the merc GLS and i'll buy it.

Mercedes' extra large flat double ipad looks absurd.

Watched the vid of the interior. Really nice. I like the exterior, a lot as well and feel it's a nice upgrade from the current generation (in particular the headlight designs). At one point in the video there are still shots of a guy driving down the highway with his hands off the wheel (2:23 mark) and the top of the steering wheel appears to have a green light on it. So is this saying it offers some level of autonomy?

Completely agree. How dated the Navigator looks now next to the new Escalade was the first thing I noticed going through those photos. I much prefer the interior and exterior design of the Escalade. The Navigator looks downright fussy and excessive next to the Escalade. Less is more in this case, IMO.

Very true, as an employer of an private livery service in Boston, our fleet has all major large SUV, GM triplets, Q7,QX,Gls,X7,Nav,Exp,LX. With that said the most requested is the Escalade, 2nd to Navigator

We just got a new Navigator Reseverd L

At a hotel i stay at they have a load of black escalades (obviously not the new one). I was shocked at how inefficient the interior is space-wise. This new one should be waaaaay better.

Yes, this interior is a knockout.

Supercruise is awesome, too.

I don’t agree that the Navigator looks dated next to this personally. Overall, I would still choose the Navigator I think.

navigator interior reminds me of an old chrysler with "corinthian leather"
