It will be interesting to see how the the upgraded models will be priced and what the dealerships will tack on in the early months. (Some Toyota dealers have added onto the new Supras with substantial markups - a few have not ...).

If they are able to keep loaded vehicles under $75k these should be a hit.... (and the reliability is decent). First Corvette I would even consider owning...

Anyone have any idea what the insurance companies are planning on charging for coverage yet?

But most of the chatter on Car Chat is about three-row crossovers and large comfortable back room seating for full size luxury cars. That ain't the C8 tho... Hmm...

Oh yeah. Why isn't there a badge on the nose, though? Surely they come with one.

Pre-production versions apparently do have a badge on the nose, but, on Chevy's web-site, they have a disclaimer that production models may (?) vary.

It will have a badge. The configurator even lets you choose what color.

Yes, the cross-checkered-flag/bow-tie Corvette logo, in various forms, is a tradition going back to the Corvette's birth in 1953....I can't imagine a production 'Vette without it.

Basically for less than $80k you can get a fully loaded 3LT with Z51 package.
We are talking about V8 mid-Engine sports car - amazing!

BTW base car for $60k will sell like crazy, comes pretty much fully loaded.

^^^Agreed assuming no crazy initial dealer markups will be a well optioned car for a good price.

C8 should win COTY or at the very least be one of the top 3 finalists. Simply amazing performance for the price.

I'm thinking the car should be driven first before declaring it the best thing ever made by humans.

The 2020 Chevy Corvette Stingray will hit 194 mph

The Z51 kit adds 400 pounds of downforce and drops the top speed to 184 mph

And on a brand-new vehicle this radically different from GM, you can almost surely expect teething problems.
