Well, to be honest, even with the Navigator's excellence (and I agree it is impressive), it is still, IMO, overpriced......as is also the smaller Aviator. There is a reason why they are discounted.
Continue to see these regularly. Took a pic the other day actually:
I see you were in the LS, idling, fully-warm. 35711 on the odometer already...you've put a fair number of miles on it for two years. Driving a lot of clients around? (I take it that's I-270 on the NAV screen?)
Yes, I agree that's a Blazer...looks almost as ugly in the rear as it does up front LOL. I've yet to see a significant number of them in the VA suburbs....but then, being retired, I'm not regularly out at peak traffic periods either, just once in a while.

Yup, was leaving Best Buy on Christmas Eve (because I’m insane). Almost exactly 2 years in so 17,500 per year which isn’t crazy. I actually rarely drive clients around anymore and don’t drive as much as I used to (used to drive 22k a year or so)

yup, gm, ford, fca still operate under the stupid old school of having msrp's that no one pays, so dealers can have great 'sales' and 'discounts' appealing to people's stupidity thinking they're getting a great deal.

I lol'ed that your sedan is the ONLY sedan in that pic.

IMO it is not stupidity to buy what one wants, at a price he or she can afford, and is willing to pay. Correct me if I'm wrong, but, as I recall, you yourself, several times, in Car Chat, have remarked that there is nothing wrong, with high-demand/short-supply vehicles, with charging more than list in an environment where people are willing to pay it...and in that case, profit is not necessarily a dirty word. I myself would never pay more than list for a vehicle today...but that's just me (I only did that once, in 1984, under very unusual circumstances with the Japanese-import quotas, and, even then, by only about $150 or so....and I didn't consider myself dumb under those circumstances). I was getting a Mazda..and would have probably paid more over list if it was a Honda or Toyota.

Well, yours would probably have been, too, if that had been you in his place.

But what you are describing is not the case here. Blazer is not a hot-demand vehicle that can sell at a premium. This is what GM does--they overprice models, and then discount them. I've been saying for years that Caddy, in particular, should stop doing this. It turns away customers that don't want/can't negotiate. They see the Blazer MSRP compared to other vehicles they are considering it, and they elect not to pursue it because the price isn't competitive. It makes no sense--it's purely an ego thing with GM -- "Our cars are worth just as much or more".

While I don't disagree with much of what you say here, Lincoln may have overpriced the Navigator and Aviator more than Cadillac or Chevy, although it is obvious that they also put some money into the design...it is not the usual El Cheapo stuff. As for the Blazer, I totally agree it is not a high-demand vehicle, and, to be honest, I'm surprised it sells at all. Steve runs into some in his area.....but I see very few, if any, myself. I won't go so far as Jill, though, in calling it a complete sales flop. Just because I personally don't see many of them locally doesn't mean that it isn't selling elsewhere (the numbers show between 10-20K units each quarter)...which isn't much compared to, say, the RAV-4, CR-V, or Subaru Outback, but still more than I expected.

Those cars have been sold for decades. So of course you see many more of them.
I can say I see way more '19 RAV-4s than Blazers (which is the more direct comparison), but it's also one of the best selling cars in the USA...so that's how it should be.
