Further down the line - there is even rumors of a BMW M2 CSL. There will be tons of BMW M2 amazing-ness coming.

Toyota would be foolish to price this car near 60k. I think 50k is too much. It should start at 38k and go up to 50something. Nothing more. It's a Toyota not a Lexus. There's nothing really special about it besides the Supra name and the history that it has. Sharing a chassis and engine with BMW isn't going to help those with knowledge of the previous generation either. I guess they'll move maybe 10k it's first year then die off. What they should have done is share the chassis with the LC and cut content from that then price it cheaper. BMW must be giving Toyota a good deal in partnering with the hydrogen stuff for Toyota to make this decision.
Next gen 2series coupe will be RWD and is confirmed.
The 2series GranCoupe variant is rumored to be FWD and may not be for US market. Either way the current M2 will be produced until 2021-2022MY so still awhile to go, next gen car is along ways away.
The Supra will be MUCH smaller inside and will not make a good daily compared to M2.
I have a BRZ and this Supra has a shorter wheelbase and lower roof line I believe.

BMW M2 Comp is not hard to get it at all. In San Francisco, within a 10 mile radius, I can count 4 BMW M2 Comp for sale. There's probably more in the Bay Area in total.
Yeah. Its going to be marked up. Just like how the Toyota Supra will be marked up. At the end of the day - you are buying a specific breed of cars that dealers will always mark up.
IE: You can pretty much say the FaceLift Lexus IS is a middle finger to the previous Lexus IS buyers with the screen. The 10 inch was available on the models since 2014 but Toyota chose to not release it.
We already had BMW/TMC engineers talking about how Toyota tested each single part of Supra in their own labs for durability, so I would not worry too much about that... As to BMWs not known for problems with drivetrain?
You can say that about any car then... All cars change over time whether its luxuries or power.

I like it yet hate it at the same time ha ha. rear looks weird love the front. I will go test drive one when they are available. I never drove a bone stock MKIV TT Supra so hard to compare and mine is way past any kind of stock level for comparison.
