in addition to the Eau Rouge, Infiniti is also adding a new entry-level Q50 that is launching first in Europe and China. It is powered by a 2.0-liter, turbocharged, petrol four-cylinder with 211 hp and 236 lb-ft (320 Nm) of torque and a seven-speed automatic. There is a chance the powerplant could also arrive in US models later as a less expensive, more economical option to the car's standard V6.
Wow, V6 TT. That is awesome, and it will not make Any Senses, if this one is cheaper than GT-R. Seriously, here we go.....250K First Japanese Mass Production vehicle
I feel like something's amiss with that press pic. Look how out of place the lower valence of the bumper looks in this screenshot of a video I saw today. It flows beautifully in Infiniti's pics though. Regardless, I'm really hoping this car stirs the waters up a bit. Infiniti needs to have some life pumped back into their lineup.
why dilute the GTR brand by putting that engine in a G?
Who cares about dilution, you think its going to cannibalize GT-R sales?I'm not saying Nissan should put in the 560hp unit, something detuned would work well. Think ZR1 and CTS-V.
Infiniti isn't selling well you don't dump millions on a new LOW VOLUME engine. You work with what you have... theyre here to make money and I don't think putting in a gt-r engine will make the brand loose any of its integrity. If anything if will help bring in attention to a car line that seriously needs it.
