3 series less that the others, IMHO.

Yeah, as much as I loved the Lexus IS350 F-Sport (and I really do) it was going to be months before I could get the one that I really wanted (it would have to be ordered) and with Infiniti's $3,250 loyalty cash back, I had to jump on it

Congrats! Looks great. Is all that light coming from a puddle lamp or from multiple LEDs under the side skirts?

Uh huh, I see what you did there

The IS350F-Sport was actually the top of my list but the Q50 made a better case for itself as a total package (more features, more power, more luxury). BTW, I decided on the 3.7 not the Hybrid.

Well, there's the puddle lamp from the side mirrors but then I have the Welcome Lighting package which has 4 LEDs between the front and rear tires

I didn't do anything. The Q50 garners a lot of heat for the glitchy (fixable) tech and numb steering HENCE it's not for everyone who can only focus on that. Have you ever read my review?

https://www.clublexus.com/forums/car...xus-is350.html

Last paragraph:

So which would I choose? If given the choice between these two exact cars a 2014 Infiniti Q50 Premium or 2014 Lexus IS350 Luxury I would have to go with the Infiniti. It is simply a nicer car with a balanced act. This Lexus is refined and also offers a good balance, but without nicer interior appointments is just shows me that Lexus would rather show me a piece of cake behind glass rather than hand me a slice.
So don't count out my words. I came out with the same viewpoint. Simply put they are two different cars aimed at a similar demographic but how each car gets there is a different method. Infiniti with Luxury and Lexus with Sport. Choose your flavor so to speak.

Well, have you seen my reviews of the two cars? I can only speak to my own experiences with both cars.

I wasn't counting out your words. I'm just pointing out how your attitude came across in your post. Your intentions were obvious, especially now after this post.

Ahh ok. I do remember Nissan offering that on the Maxima now. It's a pretty cool feature. I would have been in a Q if it was released last Oct when I was in the market for a new car. I won't comment on whether or not I regret getting the GS (I don't lol). Love the Q though. Are the headlights HID or LED?

the MSRP is $51,130 and then it also had $1,098 dealer options. I got it for $47,500

For the longest time I've done nothing but praise the IS350 F-Sport but the Q50S is such a different kind of vehicle too and it has a lot to offer as well. I went to a Lexus dealer a few weeks ago looking for an F-Sport with VGRS and the MLS but they've been difficult to come by and the lease deals aren't all that great.

Hoovey has actually been one of the most vocal people in regards to what the IS needs to improve. I know, we have butt heads about it a few times and I love him He's also stated the Q50 interior is a high point.

However overall, we both agree ( I put 3k miles on one) as do most reviews so don't expect a standing ovation. Congrats on the new ride.
