I dont know why a lot of Magazines dislike the Q-50.

But for the money, and what is in the Bag....Q-50 is best of Hybrid Performance Sedan...affordable by now

I like the new Q50 (G), I think it looks way better than the Q70 (M).

I don't think anyone dislikes it, except for the steer-by-wire.

The issue is it has insane competition: ATS, 335, IS350, A4/S4, and soon the new C300/C400. Most reviews I've seen take issue with the handling at limits, even though they realize 99% of people never drive the car at the limit. The Q50 tends to oversteer a bit there, while understeering everywhere else... it's inconsistent, for which it is dinged.

It's an 8.5 when everything else is a 9 or better.

Some suspension tuning for the oversteer, and software tuning for the steer-by-wire, would make it a much better car than it already is. And perhaps a smoother engine than the current VQ.

Actually the reviewers have said the same 3.7 VQ in the Q50 is much better due to how it now handles vibration and roughness. I have to agree after having it a couple days as a loaner...much improved over the G37. The drivetrain isn't the issue...its how they tuned the suspension. The interior of the car is really nice but doesn't have the unique design that the new IS enjoys.

I'm really hoping the IS refresh in a couple years includes an engine refresh for the 3.5L V6...want more horsies!

"The Infiniti Q50 is a small executive saloon that offers great quality and a touch of exclusivity."
The 2014 Infiniti Q50 is better looking, more luxurious, and still has great performance. Take a look!
The Infiniti Q50 is the model the company will help it make major inroads into the European market for the first time.

We sold the car last month…..

Now I am toying with it since around here its $349 a month 0 DOWN for a non hybrid and $429 for a hybrid. Would make a great beater….

They still have not fixed all the electronic issues which is ridiculous and it simply drives like the last gen GS, fast but detached. I was expecting a lot more.

Shame cause I think it looks fantastic lowered….I really like the body lines of the exterior….

uhh you guys know that the LED interior lights can be different color (temperature)-- 3000K, 5000K, 6000K, 7000K, etc...etc........right? http://www.exledusa.com/exled-lexus-...light-kit.html

....so you can have LED interior lights that aren't a pure or cold white.....

Whats funny is I loved the Q50 , but when I drove a 2 yr old G37 sedan it seemed more direct and sporty. I think I thought it handled better than it really does because I had just gotten out of my soft LS460

It seems the electronics steering is the main bugaboo for the Q50. It's like trying to fool people by serving them turkey meat in their burger instead of beef. You ain't foolin nobody.

Really wish Infiniti hadn't gone the software route.

good way to put it. Its like they had to redesign the wheel only to get crap results. Not a single reviewer was happy with the feel of the system. FAIL !!

Yeap, exactly my feelings. Especially when they announced their Eau Rouge Q50... I was thinking to myself 'how can you possibly announce a "sports car" that is supposed to compete with M/F/AMG/RS etc and have drive-by-wire???!'
