2012 Chevy Aveo
These are likely the official photos (or CG pics) apparently leaked ahead of time although most won't be equipped with such wheels, ect.
Looks pretty impressive for an Aveo. Chevy might as well change the name as "Aveo" just doesn't seem to do it justice.
It's so nice to see GM [and Ford] getting serious in the small car game. This, along with the Cruze, Fiesta, and new Focus are all top notch and will give the Japanese something to worry about.

I drove by a Chevy dealer the other day and thought how ugly the Aveo is. This isn't too shabby. They should make it unique and install the mild hybrid setup from the Malibu hybrid as the premium was minimal.

You aren't alone on that thought....
I'm glad it looks a ton better. Though I hope it handles better as well. I used one for a rental while the RX was in the shop since my mum couldn't turn the wheel. Apparently it had no power steering or something and I was the only one strong enough in my family to drive it? Either way it was a horrible rental at the time

Wow, impressive! And this is a price leader? It looks very upscale to me, inside and out. I definitely see a lot of Vauxhall Insignia/Buick Regal in there, just smaller.

The one thing that hurts it is the Aveo name. It has the stigma of a tiny, ugly turd of a car. Chevy should call it something else and let the Aveo nameplate be forgotten.
Still,
New Focus > this Aveo
