This does look much better, but I'm not sure if it will still be a price leader. I have a feeling GM could raise prices. When GM released the new Malibu, they raised prices. I also have a feeling the Cruze will be more expensive than some people expect.

... while they fire sale the Malibu/Aveo/Cruze to Avis, Budget, Hertz, Alamo and Enterprise. And of course being GM their resale values suck as all these ex-rental units flood the Manheim and Adesa auction lots, naturally.

Looks more aggressive and better looking compared to the last gen Aveo.

Default 2015 Chevrolet Aveo Gets a…2016 Cruze-Inspired Facelift in China

Photos of the redesigned Chevrolet Aveo for the Chinese market drifted on the internet last night, possibly, but not surely, prior to a world premiere at the Beijing Auto Show (April 20-29).

If you've captured a glimpse of the next generation 2016 Cruze in China-specification – if you haven’t click here, then you will no doubt notice the family resemblance in the restyling of the 2015 Aveo's front end, and to a lesser extent, the reworked rear end.

In China, the Aveo sedan is powered by a 97hp 1.4-liter four-cylinder gasoline engine.

At this stage, we don't know if and when GM will apply the cosmetic update to the Aveo sold in other parts of the world.
