The ES250 never had a japanese equivalent since it was basically a last minute effort, cookie cutter VZV21 Camry V6 model. The 92 ES300 and newer was the Windom. The Windom came into existence in 1992 VCV10 3VZ-FE V6.

The Vista only came as a 4cyl version SV20 3S-FE. ES250 was a straight derivative of the 90-91 Camry V6 model. The only JDM equivalent to the ES250 was a Toyota Camry V6 VZV21 2VZ-FE 2.5L.

The first code name was " F1 " but not because of Formula 1. The code stood for " Flagship 1" for what was destined to become Toyota's finest new product.

Yep, time to find some questions that you can't find from the internet or The Lexus Story.

What color and model was the first production Lexus vehicle to arrive in the United States, and what happened with it?
