We looked at the Carnival before we got this Pacifica. It’s nice but I hate the refresh. We’re not going to get another Van, if we keep a Van for a while we’ll buy this one out and keep it.
What did they keep that can cause issues is the question to ask IMO. If it's the same driveline, chassis, electrical running gear etc then it will have the same issues since it's the same car.

Watched some videos on the new Telluride last night, looks pretty impressive, will give that a look.
A Telluride, while impressive in some ways, might not be the best bet in terms of reliability, for two reasons. Consumer Reports did not give the original version very high marks in that field (38 out of 100), and, of course, the latest version is brand-new......first-year models often tend to have more problems than those several years old.

Their dealer experience is pretty shitty based on what I read all the time.
When we had our Kia Sedona the dealer experience was fine.

Remember...it replaces a Chrysler...
And the Chrysler has been totally acceptable from what you have shared....the reliability gap is so damn small these days it doesn't functionally matter outside of the Toyota 3.5, GM engines and the ford 10 speed
