Jettas never had V6s, only the MK4 has the VR6 but the newer ones used the 5 cyl for a while. That one combined with a manual trans is very reliable

Default What car/truck are you thinking of buying next?

For me, it's possibly switching to a Hummer truck, more because I like the utility of a bed.....that or maybe an R2 or IX to replace the wife's MYP.....

(Possibly)? later this year. Pretty much what I am driving now.......another Buick Encore GX or Chevy Trailblazer. I like most of the versions of those two (which are done on the same platform), for my driving needs, better than anything else currently on the market.

I'll eventually sell my RCF and look for an LC.

I really think my next vehicle (not the Pacifica replacement, but the S580 replacement in a couple years) is going to be a Range Rover. Not sure if I might try the Sport or go for the big one. The leases are terrible on the big one, Sport is like $1,000-$1,100 cheaper per month even highly optioned.

Silverado, or Sierra HD. I need more towing capacity than my Ranger can handle.

I really like the euro styled interiors in these.

Me too, and I like that they are still understated vs Mercedes with stars all over them now and BMW with…whatever they are doing…

My 2013 A4 allroad running strong with 200k+ miles probably going to keep it forever since it's not worth anything.

I'm looking into two options:
1. IF Audi brings the B10 RS 5 Avant to the states, saving up for a custom order in ~ 1.5-3 years. I'm willing to overlook the plastic interior and fixed glass roof for the Avant body style (and hoping ~2 year wait puts me in line with a B10.5 and higher quality interior?)

2. IF Audi doesn't, then I'm getting an E92 M3 or a 991.1 Carrera S. But most likely the M3.

That being said.. there's some discourse on the BMW forums that BMWs internally reviewing the business case for a "G88" M3 Touring and a possibility of it coming to the US... and I am intrigued 👀 I would have definitely got a G81 if BMW had brought that to the US.

Thinking Rivian R2, but probably not ready for a new car for another 2 years, so a lot can change.
