not sure i follow. the dash/rear cam kit (fitcamx) i have replaces the mirror shroud piece making it look totally oem so it would be useless on any other kind of car. the wiring is easy to remove too.
That’s a different story. The one I had was not that well integrated. I would just leave it then.
Look how horrendous and tacky that AMG badge looks. It's not only stupid to put a badge like that on a non-AMG car, but the placement of that is just dreadful as well.
I've had people ask me if I would ever put one on my. car, absolutely never. It's not an AMG.
not only does that particular placement look especially **** but anyone who actually knows what AMG is will know instantly that they're being a poser... now if they did it just to troll i support it! mercedes themselves made it loud and clear that they don't care anymore so i'm not gonna get worked up over it

I put AMG badges on my sprinter and metris vans, obviously just for humor.
Steve you aren't gonna like this, but the Car Care Wizard really hates the W223.
I was shocked myself when I saw him flex all the plastic inside... wow. Considering you could bounce an asteroid off of any hard part of an old Benz's interior, it's disappointing.
The door part also, whew. Light doors like that? The Merc doors are substantially heavier than both Lexuses and the GMC... And like I said opening it from the inside is like unlocking a safe.
I think so much money had to go into the insane tech that they had to skip over some details they used to sweat.

Yeah, it's crazy too considering when he does go over a Lexus he just starts going through the litany of "common problems" like it's okay because Toyota.
First dead "ZF"8 speed I have personally dealt with, 114k miles. Astounding that Chrysler managed to mess up the ZF8 design......to be fair it's in a POS 2.0T wrangler. PREMIUM quality parts right here! I hate ford so much. Also, Lexus parts cost still exceeds all my wildest dreams. There is a TSB out for head unit failure in this year ES but it's really a board issues, Lexus wants $8600 for a new one and $4460 for a rebuilt unit lol! Instead the real solution is just going in to fix the board directly
I don't know about other Lexus models, but he loves LS430s, he has one with 600k and gushes over how high quality it is. He bought it sight unseen. This one isn't it (it's 2 hours long), but it's easy to find. He's also correct about how people don't dump them in a lot of cases.
After watching that Mercedes video, he's right. The dash doesn't even look luxurious, just a screen that flexes and four strange looking vents. There are better colors etc to make it look fancier but I see what he means.

This has been posted and discussed before lol. That car is an early build car from Turo with 50k miles on it. He lies at some point in the video and says it has very little miles but you can see the mileage on the screen.
He is not wrong about the plastics around the seat bottom, they are terrible and they creak like that unless you fix them, I've fixed mine but build quality inside is one are where they need to do better for the money for sure. Mine is solid but I have made it solid in a couple areas where I shouldn't have to make it so.
You know how picky I am about stuff like that, if my car was like that I would get rid of it. He has an axe to grind for sure.

The interior feels very luxurious, and the screen doesn't flex, I can grab mine and its totally solid. Its just a modern, minimalist take on an interior that you either like or don't. It wasn't my favorite at first either but its really grown on me. Feels much younger than my W222 did but its not as "fancy" looking.

Watching his video about the TX I actually laughed out loud because he said that they shouldn't have made the car as smooth and quiet as it is "because why do families need something smooth and quiet, they have loud kids" Like...what?!?
