I have a lead on a hard top for the Benz!! He's parting a Silver Arrow out, what a shame. 144k miles.

It's in Pittsburgh, that's easily doable. We haven't talked prices yet but he says it needs a new headliner, I want him to think it's as crappy as possible to get a low price.

The type R looks ok but I don't know much about these.
Overpriced Honda or worth it?
The MSRP has increased $11k since they first debuted in 2017. That’s without a markup.

A car you can daily drive to work, haul kids, pickup groceries, and take it to road course tracks without changing a single thing. It’s dialed in from the factory!!

Best feature, it has a 3rd pedal!!

This is one 2.0T 4 cylinder @AJT123 wouldn’t think about trying🙃

Not yet but rumor is it’s otw. I think this gen Type R is the last gas only Type R.

2 things I like about the current gen Type R:

a lot more space in the engine bay to work with.
individual mode allows you to customize driving settings

My man. I like that.

I think it’s really cool the Type R is from a mainstream brand like Honda and it’s not a markup brand like Acura.

One thing I like about this gen is its looks more grown up than the last gen.

Also, did you complete the downpipe install on the Supra? If so, thoughts and times?

You're not serious with that question, are you? ...the foot-operated clutch, of course.

The Acura is like a Sierra to a Silverado. Few more amenities and I believe 5-10hp more. I think the Acura is cool. I actually thought about it before picking up the Supra. That’s how much fun and practical the Type R can be as a daily. The Acura would’ve been my daily. Had I picked up the Acura, I would’ve thrown the bigger turbo sitting in my garage on it that’s capable of 600hp

I tried waiting for the current gen Type R but I bought mine in late 21 and Honda didn't make a 2022 Type R at all. I didn’t want to wait another year.

So what had happened was…got the downpipe installed. Drove it around normal I think for a day to make sure no CEL. Like the deeper sound it has although stock Supra exhaust is great even with stock downpipe. Then realized I hadn’t driven my Honda in over 2 months. So I began hauling kids around in the Honda so parked the Supra. So it’s been parked for couple weeks now. In those couple weeks I threw a JB4 on it. But…

I haven’t even started it up since installing the JB4 but I’m thinking about taking a roadtrip in it tomorrow if weather permits. I haven’t gotten any new times but I will. There’s a setting on the JB4 I can turn it completely off (stock tune) so I can see what/if the DP made any difference. I did also throw a BMC air filter on as well while it’s been sitting.

It's the only 4 cylinder car besides the Accord 2.0T that I enjoyed driving in the 7 years. Respect to Honda for actually making a very balanced fwd vehicle

There's also an Acura version, the Integra Type S. It costs about $4k more than the Civic Type R, and of course is a little nicer. It would be my choice between the two.

Oh I beat one from a 90-130MPH pull in our '11 IS350 before we got rid of it, though. ;-).

Same, in fact I think this gen Civic in general is a more appealing product than the accord.

Was that the one in Chicago that had some wear and tear? Good luck if you jump on this one.
