General Car Conversation 2025 - Part 1
I have a lead on a hard top for the Benz!! He's parting a Silver Arrow out, what a shame. 144k miles.
It's in Pittsburgh, that's easily doable. We haven't talked prices yet but he says it needs a new headliner, I want him to think it's as crappy as possible to get a low price.

A car you can daily drive to work, haul kids, pickup groceries, and take it to road course tracks without changing a single thing. It’s dialed in from the factory!!
Best feature, it has a 3rd pedal!!

This is one 2.0T 4 cylinder @AJT123 wouldn’t think about trying🙃

Not yet but rumor is it’s otw. I think this gen Type R is the last gas only Type R.
2 things I like about the current gen Type R:
a lot more space in the engine bay to work with.
individual mode allows you to customize driving settings

I think it’s really cool the Type R is from a mainstream brand like Honda and it’s not a markup brand like Acura.
Also, did you complete the downpipe install on the Supra? If so, thoughts and times?
So what had happened was…got the downpipe installed. Drove it around normal I think for a day to make sure no CEL. Like the deeper sound it has although stock Supra exhaust is great even with stock downpipe. Then realized I hadn’t driven my Honda in over 2 months. So I began hauling kids around in the Honda so parked the Supra. So it’s been parked for couple weeks now. In those couple weeks I threw a JB4 on it. But…
I haven’t even started it up since installing the JB4 but I’m thinking about taking a roadtrip in it tomorrow if weather permits. I haven’t gotten any new times but I will. There’s a setting on the JB4 I can turn it completely off (stock tune) so I can see what/if the DP made any difference. I did also throw a BMC air filter on as well while it’s been sitting.
What grade are you? 🧐🤣
The MSRP has increased $11k since they first debuted in 2017. That’s without a markup.

There's also an Acura version, the Integra Type S. It costs about $4k more than the Civic Type R, and of course is a little nicer. It would be my choice between the two.

Yeah thanks- this time I'm gonna jump and not waste a second. The last one I let get away from me because I didn't move my *** fast enough.

...the foot-operated clutch, of course.
