i mean who doesn't want to set off 100,000 fireworks on an audi?

(no idea why it's age restricted, there's nothing riské in it. i guess they don't want to give kids ideas.)
I am getting 70 percent of my energy from my Solar panels, but because I am now charging 4 EV's and we've had a pretty hot summer with a lot of AC usage, I've had to pull from the grid, where I get my electricity from San Jose Clean Energy. As you can see, "Generation charges" are $138 from SJCE, but PG&E's portion, which they call "Delivery charges" is almost double. So unless I can over-generate to cover that thieving company PG&E's "Delivery" charges, I'm still paying a high electricity bill. My last True-Up bill from PG&E in June was around $2585, which is roughly about $215 a month to PG&E in delivery charges. I'm currently working with a friend who does solar to possibly add another 6kW system on my garage to cover this PG&E BS.
On a more positive note, we drive a lot, and had we been fueling our cars, the gasoline bill would have been more like $280 a week, so even with the higher electricity bills, we are saving money. Plus my son is moving to Berkeley tomorrow, and he won't be taking a car. He drives more than all of us, and this will cut our electricity usage by at least one quarter, as we will only be charging three cars regularly instead of 4

Louisiana Utility Regulators Pass Rule to Keep Electric Vehicle Charging Competitive
