That's disappointing. Fully powered frunk is a game changer. I never used the frunk on my 3P because it was always awkward to feel the flex when pushing down to close. I use it more than the rear storage space in the R1S

I would definitely LOVE a power frunk, but I use both on the Y and 3 regardless. Totally comes in handy, especially when bringing home take out

There's been a few in California showrooms since Saturday, so they're already here. Just obviously not for sale.

I'm probably going to swing over to the Tesla showroom in Fremont and see it for myself this week if I get a chance. As soon as I can get a test drive, I'll do one and a review. No need for any more pics, I think we all have an idea of what it looks like inside and out

Same. There are aftermarket kits but they look a bit sketchy.

The latch on the bottom of the doors is one this I noticed on the new M3, and it's interesting to see its now on the Y. I thought it was weird at first because it looks like you could hit your leg on it when exiting or entering. I wonder how it improves safety....

Yep, I noticed that on my Model 3. It's out of the way where you won't hit your leg on it. I would assume there is some locking mechanism, or maybe it's just reinforcement in case of a side impact

This is for the new Launch Edition? And they are giving it out for the lease? Tax credit is not going away anytime soon, car companies have been lobbying hard to keep this in place

slight difference.
not just almost twice the payment, but twice the amount due at signing too.
