My kids (not really kids, young adults) found the fart sounds extremely amusing. They even spent a day in a parking lot pranking people walking by. Now the novelty has seemed to worn off. They do like the light shows, they set it to run on New year 👍

I've changed my mind all those gimmicks are a waste of resources.

Well sadly, the gimmicks are not why I bought two Tesla's. I never cared for iPhone gimmicks, and don't care for Tesla gimmicks.

On another note, last night we all went out for dinner and I showed my wife's aunt FSD in the Model 3, she had no idea a car could drive itself (they are a Toyota/Honda family ). She was totally amazed, and freaked out at the same time. It did really well the whole drive except for one part...driving in a merging lane, it overtook a car ahead of us as the lane was merging into one, forcing the car to change lanes. I was going to intervene, but I wanted to see if the car would realize it's forcing a slower car into the next lane, but sadly it didn't, or Elon just didn't care. Still needs work, but it's definitely getting there as the majority of the drive it did excellent

Elon wrote the code himself that caused that behaviour.

You know that was joke right? I always tell my wife and daughter when I turn on FSD that "I'm going to let Elon drive"

I thought the new Prius was the best looking Toyota in a very long time?

Prius is definitely good looking...for a Prius . If I compare it to the rear of the new 3, the 3 wins for me. But, flip flopping to the other side, I like that the 3 and Y are more distinct now

can someone explain how this light bar works? does the overhanging bit have the light source aiming down at some reflecting part and the light comes out that way?

yes, lights are inside and project below on surface that then reflects it. Surface is the same as car interior trim and has big TESLA written on it.

Looks cool in real life they say.

It def has been a thing to have unique lighting in cars these days.

I wonder if the lightbar is/will be a customizable software option where you can opt to have it always illuminated or not.
