They say, "You get used to it." My guess is, your results may vary...

Haha, gotta have discipline my friend 🤣. When I used to buy cars the traditional way through dealerships, I used to prepare myself to walk out if they weren't willing to deal. I find taking your time to buy something as expensive as a car is more satisfying than just impulsively making a purchase. Although I'll admit that when Tesla did the huge price drop on the Model Y last year, I executed the buy a year earlier than anticipated

I honestly think the only thing competing with the Model 3 Highland right now is...the Model 3 Legacy....the present Performance is heavily discounted to $45k, and can still get a $7.5k rebate! I wouldnt get the Highland if that was available, unless you absolutely need to get the latest and greatest.

I'm probably going to replace my Polestar next year (end of lease) with a 2021 or 2022 Model 3P, right now they are a bargain

amen. Who in the right mind would buy the highland over legacy w $7500 tax credit. Well, unless you don’t qualify. People are buy legacy model3 for under $30k w low income rebates it’s wild.

because there's more to life than money. the highland has a ton of improvements. but hey, if a buyer doesn't think they're important, legacy is the way to go.

I would much rather have this Highland than the previous gen even without the $7,500 credit.

makes sense. I think my head was wrapped around which model allows the lowest cost of operation/max efficiency, not comfort and speed, etc.

I blame $5.30 a gallon Cali gas prices on this mindset.

Both Highland and pre-Highland are going to be super efficient...hell I'm getting more than a 100 MPGe on my Y Long Range. Highland is just more refined and a step up.

BTW, gas here in SJ is $3.89 regular and $4.19 Premium...at Costco
