Well at least he admitted he's biased. And thank you Fred for unloading your shares to me, my bank account thanks you
Difference is you sold TSLA because you wanted to make money Fred sold because he has raging hatred for Elon Musk. Emotion is the worst investment strategy.

100 percent agree. There are totally legit reasons to divest from a company, there are some tech companies I could have made a ton from but won't take a dime from them if they handed me shares because their tech is used in ways that, lets say I disagree with morally. As far as Elon, he can stir the pot with the best of them, I may not agree with him in some cases, but I just filter out the noise. BTW I've looked at all his investments, and there was only one that was questionable, but 99 percent of his investments meet my moral criteria
I personally have zero respect for Bill Gates (nicest way I can say it) but I made a career managing his crappy systems and using his dev suites. Guess I'm a hypocrite.
Tesla stock is up 67% in 90 days but only up 30% for the year. Check this out, stock was at a fairly low point (blue dot) right at earnings this seems to happen over and over. Obviously we know why TSLA is surging right now. Also look at how many buying opportunities there were.

Putting aside any moral quandaries associated with Gates, and also putting aside his shorting of TSLA, guy was brilliant. He literally pirated someone else's software and became a billionaire. He also pioneered making Microsoft customers Beta testers, which we know Tesla has been doing for years

Feel good my friend,.
Gates didn't write a single line of code for any of the computer systems you had to fix. Haha
