It didn't take much work at all, the trans is definitely a little wider towards the end so I did have some hammering but not much. Trans power people say it is rated 800+ and it if breaks I can just get another for $400 unlike the r154.
Also I worked with CBFperformance and gave him better measurements for the shifter, the original was cut for an s13 height. The new GS version should sit the shifter center of the GS console.
Looking great! I am glad to see someone trying the CD009, as it really is a great option with the prices constantly going up and availability going down for V160/161's and R154's...
Looks awesome. Can you post a parts list? Also wondering how hard this would be to adapt this tranny to a 1UZ.
Collins A340 adapter kit
ACT 6 Puck Sprung (240sx disc)
ACT HD Pressure Plate (W58)
Fidanza Lightweight flywheel (IS300)
Custom trans mount with S13 bushing
Custom driveshaft 54.5" from the tail shaft adapter center hole to the Collins differential adapter
CBF Performance shifter kit GS300 version
T56 Slave Cylinder
Speedway SS lines and remote bleeder
Finally finished up and I love it, makes the car so much more fun to drive now.
I was working with CBFperformance on this, this was with the older "extension" piece which was 3" which only hit in reverse. He now provides them at a standard length of 4" which should clear, he sent me the replacement but I havent had time to put it on yet. I will be doing that though because I want cup holders haha

I like the "stock" look much better. Thanks for the pics.
