You finally got around to it !! I remember you saying that it bugged you. Big props for actually taking the time to figure it out. Personally I got use to it. Would mess me up bad now if I switched.

Headers back yet from coating??
Yeah, I finally did. I actually was installing a bigger/android screen so I had to take that center console out and decided to look for the connector Too bad the screen ends up messing with the beatsonic camera interface so I had to put the factory screen back on.

Only 2 weeks into the headers being coated. They estimate 3
weeks and could creep into a 4th week they said, so we’ll see! I sent them to Swain Technology coatings btw, went for the white lightning coating.

also, replaced some more fasteners with lighter ones!

the filter is a small cone style stainless, so small there’s so much room left in the box I’ll give it a try but I might get a bigger K&N.

Stainless?
Can’t see that filtering too well. Prolly good for hp but poor for long term internal wear..

I agree, I‘m looking for a K&N replacement that has a 4.5” flange diameter and a slight angle.

Still waiting for the headers so I cleaned and clear sprayed some parts while they are off the car.





And got around to replacing more fasteners with titanium.















Titanium/ss nuts and bolts, header collectors to midpipes.
