Toyota Scion 01 Concept SEMA 2025

Toyota has infiltrated SEMA 2025 with everything from lowered sporty machines to lifted ones and even a 300 hp turbo side-by-side.

Toyota has been on quite the roll lately when it comes to doing things that, well, aren’t exactly what one might expect from an automaker that tends to lean more toward the conservative side of the automotive world. In fact, it just unleashed a bevy of wild Lexus concepts at the 2025 Japan Mobility Show – everything from a large and luxurious van bearing the LS nameplate to an autonomous catamaran and even a home. Now that SEMA 2025 is upon us, it seems as if Toyota isn’t done yet, however.

Rather, Toyota has brought a bunch of interesting concepts to SEMA 2025, which are centered around one theme, in particular – diversity, both in terms of what those vehicles do, and what powers them. Here’s everything you need to know about this rather unique lineup of concepts.

Toyota bZ Time Attack Concept SEMA 2025

bZ Time Attack Concept

While Toyota hasn’t quite gone full-bore into the world of EVs like many of its rivals, it is working to make the bZ a bit more appealing via a recent refresh, along with this – the new Time Attack Concept, which is debuting at SEMA 2025. This wild track-focused model is designed specifically for circuits and hill climb events, utilizing a host of downforce-generation functional aero bits, lightweight construction, and even a beefed-up powertrain.

Other notable goodies here include Toyota R&D-tuned electric motors delivering over 400 horsepower, along with TEIN coilovers and springs, Alcon brakes, an FIA-spec 4130 chromoly cage, OMP HTE-R racing seats and harnesses, 19×11-inch BBS Unlimited wheels, and 305/30ZR19 XL Continental Extreme Contact Sport 02 tires.

Toyota Tacoma H2-Overlander Concept SEMA 2025

Tacoma H2-Overlander Concept

As for the Toyota Tacoma H2-Overlander Concept, it aims to be more friendly outdoors thanks to both hydrogen fuel cell electric (FCEV) and battery electric (BEV) technologies, with two electric motors, a 24.9-kWh lithium-ion battery pack, and 547 horsepower on tap. Aside from that unique powertrain, this concept features a host of mods including a TRD billet long-travel kit with heavy-duty, high-performance Fox 2.5 Performance Elite Series shocks, and custom 17×8.5-inch wheels wrapped with 35×12.5R17 off-road tires.

Toyota Turbo Trail Cruiser SEMA 2025

Turbo Trail Cruiser

Toyota is also taking a trip back in time with its new Turbo Trail Cruiser concept, which combines a 1985 Land Cruiser FJ60 with the modern-day twin-turbocharged i-Force V6 powertrain. It’s a perfect blend of old and new, as Toyota worked to keep the vintage SUV looking mostly original, and it didn’t even make any major modifications – though it did add a lift kit and a modern stereo system to the mix.

Toyota Corolla Cross Nasu Edition SEMA 2025

Corolla Cross Nasu Edition

The Corolla Cross Nasu Edition is designed to channel the spirit of Japan’s alpine adventures, transforming the smaller crossover into a lifestyle-ready rig built for mountain escapes and weekend exploration. The modified hybrid features custom wheels wrapped with Toyo Open Country A/T III all-terrain tires, a lifted suspension, one-off body kit, a roof basket, and even a fridge inside.

Toyota Camry GT-S SEMA 2025

Camry GT-S

The Toyota Camry G-TS concept is essentially a styling exercise to see just how far the sedan can go in that regard, and the result is quite sporty, to say the least. The GT-S aims to be a real sport sedan with a lowered suspension, Inferno Flare paint, 20-inch wheels, larger brakes with six-piston rear and eight-piston front brakes, albeit, with the stock 2.5-liter four-cylinder hybrid powertrain churning out 232 horsepower.

Toyota Scion 01 Concept SEMA 2025

Scion 01 Concept

Finally, we have perhaps the biggest surprise from Toyota at SEMA 2025 – the Scion 01 Concept, which brings back a name that we haven’t seen since it existed as its own brand under the Toyota umbrella years ago. Now, Scion is being used on a side-by-side concept powered by a high-output turbocharged four-cylinder hybrid powertrain generating more than 300 horsepower, along with all the suspension goodies that make UTVs a ton of fun off-road.
