OK, we hear how the biannual Tokyo Auto Show is losing relevance. And given the rise of China, along with the dismal percent of foreign cars on the road in Japan, it kind of makes sense. But then, we see stuff like this naked LFA, and all we want to do is fly to Tokyo.

Generally, my favorite thing about a big unveiling is that it sucks most of the press folks into one area of the show, which makes it easier to get photos of cars that would otherwise be mobbed.

The first time I saw the IS-F in person, it was screaming on a dyno, and I thought it sounded awesome. But it should come as no surprise that it sounds better in CCS-R trim. This footage was shot at Motorsport Japan, and it’s pretty awesome. Enjoy.
