I just noticed that rear of my shark fin antenna is not flush. The rubber gasket is not touching the roof. I curious to see if all TX's are like this or just mine?
Ours is loose too, but after washing with a pressure washer twice already there hasn't been any leaks like our previous X5 did which is known for shark fin leaks. There must be another gasket underneath somewhere doing its job.

Mine is not loose , its not sitting flush.
Yes, there is another internal rubber gasket to prevent water. I believe the outer rubber gasket is there to prevent debris and not water. Either way, it should be sitting flush.

Thanks, Bro, for your reply. A misfitting shark fin or misfitting any part is usually not a good sign of quality control. If it shows up on multiple vehicles then, to me, it's a black mark and that black mark goes against the marque. So, no, I truly believe I am in the right place at the right time.
