Default Shark fin replacement fitment

I took off my shark fin and reinstalled it i dont remember if there should be a gap between the roof and sharkfin ill show pictures

The shark fin has to be sealed completely against the roof, no gaps...otherwise the rear passengers will be having a shower every time you drive in the rain.
