Default Replacement OEM Shocks

Looking to purchase some OEM replacement shocks that will work with the factory AVS. I dont want coilovers, im eventually going to get RSR Down springs. Thanks in advance for the help.

**edit** the car is a 2013 GS350 Fsport RWD.

I just recently replaced my springs with swift springs. 52k miles on them. Let me know if you are interested.

Check Rockauto. They sell KYB gas-a-just shocks and struts that are AVS compliant. I will be installing mine this weekend on my 14 F-sport RWD.

CouveGS, how did the install go? How is the ride compared to stock?
You bought the ones that are AVS compatible? Any issues with that?

My stock struts are leaking again and dont need coil overs or anything expensive since I don’t drive aggressive 98% of the time anymore. These look like potentially good affordable options.

So far so good! Ride is normal (as in it feels the same as before). My struts just started seeping, so were fully functional before I replaced them. My goal too was to maintain stock ride, without overpaying for a Lexus branded strut. The AVS works in all modes like before. Very happy with these struts and a major saving from OEM.

That is excellent news! Going to have to pick up these since my second set have been seeping for a while now (First replaced before 30K miles. Now at 107K miles and noticed seeping again). I have heard the stock ones have been reengineered to be more reliable but at their cost vs these, I think I will take a chance with these first since I do all my own labor. It is nice having a hydraulic lift system at home.

It would be a dream to have a lift. I did mine with hand tools and jack stands in the garage. Took me way longer than it should with the darn spring compressor. I hate those things. Good luck with your install!

To keep this thread going, I did a little research this morning. and I was able to find that KYB does have a part # for the front struts, but i can't find them for sale anywhere. My guess is the virus halted production on part #'s 5510023 and 5510024.

For GS350 F-Sport RWD owners, looks like we need the following KYB struts:
7210001 - Front Left
7210000 - Front Right
7240000 - Rears
Fronts look to be available, but rears are out of stock in the U.S.

Please post if anyone finds these in stock somewhere.
I was planning on replacing them while installing new rims and lowering springs, but will wait until I can find them in stock again.

FYI rears are now in stock at RockAuto. Available for RWD with and without AVS and AWD without AVS only.
