Suspension Help Needed...
Hey fellas,
I own a 2010 Lexus GS350 RWD and just recently put some 20x9 MRR VP5's wrapped in 255/35/20 Hankook Ventus tires on them. I think the car with this setup looks sick! The tires fill up the wheels wells just the right amount for that perfect look I've been looking for.
The only problem is there is a slight rub on the inner front plastic fenders and when I hit a bump at moderate to high speed the front wheels hit the upper front portion of the wheel well. I really don't want to downgrade the tire size so I've been considering getting one of those adjustable coilover kits for my ride with the idea of raising her up about a quarter to a half inch and stiffening the ride so it bottoms out before hitting the inner well.
Too be honest I don't know much about these coilover kits or if they're even the right solution for my problem. Any advice would be great.

Is there anything I can do suspension wise to keep this wheel and tire setup?
I've already trimmed the inner fender which helped a lot with the turning radius. The only problem I have now is the up travel on the suspension when I'm going over large bumps. I thought about just getting longer bump stops but that's why I'm here because I don't know much about my suspension options.

BC Coils, keep your current ride height, then keep them on max stiffnes dampening till you break them in. after you have broken them in soften the dampening 3 clicks at a time till you rub again then stiffen them back up 1 click at a time till you find that sweet spot. it will be a stiffer ride but you can solve the rubbing issue. if you want it softer that issue for you rubbing may return.
i only say BC Coils because on mine when dampening was set to max my car barely leaned in corners. it was really stiff. as far as other coils ive only experienced with the megans and it wasnt stiff enough... just my opinion. i currently have mine on 5 clicks below max and i can almost ride completely aired out without rubbing.

I would first find out exactly where you are rubbing, if its just the plastic you can run self tap screws the liner to the body.
Does it rub near the bumper or near the firewall? Have you grinded down the pinch welds?
