Default F Sport Springs

I was wondering if anyone knew what is the average cost of getting the F Sport springs installed by the dealer? Lexus.com prices the springs at $299. And also how much of a drop is it? Ride quality?

I was quoted around $450 just for labor at Lexus dealership. I think its about 3 hours labor plus the price of springs. Please keep in mind that lowering AWD will/may cause vibration during idle and wobble when accelerating.

Really? I figured because they were by Lexus they would be almost like factory. Like my old BMW had sport suspension on it that gave it a lower stance.

Well springs are springs regardless of who makes them (for the most part). The vibrations are due to the design of the way the car will sit when its lowered. There is a member on here on CL that is working hard on a solution.

yeah I was quoted $450 each tire from my dealership, but if you go to the lexus site under F-Sport you can see what it will actually look like its not a huge drop!

I think I paid around $700 for everything installed. It drops the car 1" and the ride quality is still great. It's not a huge drop but it is noticeable and any drop makes the car look much better.

I did the F Sport sways first, and while the cornering was much more flat, the ride was a little rough. The springs just added to that. You will notice a deterioration in your ride quality...not horrible but you will notice.

It shouldn't void anything besides early strut wear (if thats even a warranty item). BUT from my expierience, my car is CPO and lowered on 20s and when i ever need to have to bring the car in for an issue (dash rattles, brakes, etc) to Lexus, they always point out that the car is modified! I suggest talking to your service advisor @ the dealership.
