Unhappy Tien SS coilover help....

hello there everybody. I had a tien ss coilover installed in my 07 gs 350 a few months ago, i didn't like the outcome of it. The reason why, is that is too bounces. I tried to tighten it and soften it still bounce. I was thinking of getting rid of it and install a new set up. I want to go with a different set up, can anybody give me some advise what type of spring and shock to use on it.Thanks....

You shouldn t have gotten such a stiff set up. soften the dampening and make sure that the spring preload isn t super tight. thats about all you can do.

Try Tanabe Sustec Pro Fives or Ten CST. They have after spring rates than the Ten SS.

If your car bounces, then the springs are either too stiff for the shocks, or the shocks are inadequate for the spring rate.

^^ It really depends on how you want to drive..... TEIN CST's from what I heard are comfortable closer to stock than anything. JIC's give you a much sportier ride while retaining a comfortable ride. I like to drive like a maniac so making quick turns and staying planted to the ground is what I'm looking for in a ride. JIC's actually ride better when slammed all the way to the ground. Its worth the money if thats how you want to drive.
