Recently had suspension modified...
hey ppl i had questions... i have a 00 lexus gs 300 and just put on h and r springs on my car... but they are on the stock ones i have 75 thousand miles on those shocks... but i noticed after install and alignment... when i go over speed bumps or comin out of my drive way u here like a pretty loud click click sound when i'm rollin the wheel over the speed bump or stuff like that... what the heck is that... and also on highway about probably past 60 my rear end feel way to lose... and when i'm switchin lanes quickly... i seriously think i'm goin to lose it at the rear... i want to put on the l-tuned shocks for my car... but i heard there were on back order...

You should replace your shocks regardless, but what I think you are hearing is the bump stop. I probably wasn't cut to compensate for the lowering...just my 2 cents!

For what it's worth, I did not cut the bump stops when I installed my H&R/Bilstein combo, and I have had no issues. This includes insanely high speed runs on not so perfect freeways as well as the Deals Gap run.
As for the clicking noises, check the tightness of the shock tower mounting nuts (14mm) at all four corners and pay special attention to the shocks shaft nut (17mm). After the springs settle, you can wind up with some exposed threads under the nut that may cause the sounds you're hearing. It's also possible that the spring/hat orientation is not correct, but check the other things first.

mumbles - He is using the stock shocks with aftermarket springs...hence, the bump stop should of been cut...You on the other hand, probably received new ones with your shocks...almost positive, but who knows...

Sounds like an improper installation...most likely the springs weren't put in the right way on the struts.
The GS chassis is pretty finicky as far as getting the springs to sit right, we fix a LOT of botched jobs from other shops and it seems like the same mistakes most of the time.
Probably no harm though, just annoying noises!!!
