Default VSC light after tein cs coilover

I went to the shop yesterday to install my tein cs, after everything was done i went into the car and my vsc abs and vsc off lights were on. Question is, is it possible the shop have pulled on it and torn the wire or is it just some coincidence. On the other hand I'm kinda confused on how to lower the height any help with pics please thank.

They most likely pulled on it. When they put back the coilovers, they can't just tie the wires anywhere on the spring they like. They need to lower the car and gauge where the wires should be, then tie it up. This is a common mistake by most mechanics.

The cable should be attached to your shock body. It'll be obvious.

Raise hell with the shop. Turn your steering wheel until your your cable is at tension. Then show the mess they made.

I am never ever going back to that shop again they might give me another scratch plus it took them 8 hrs to install the coilover when i was there right when they opened and waited another 4 hrs for them to figure out where was damaged. i think i know what wire you're talking about(one clipped on with the shock?) but it is as hard as a tube so now i dont know how to see where it will be disconnected at.

The internal wiring has been ripped. The outer rubber jacket is able to stretch. It's the inside wires that can't be, and they're fairly small too.

Another possible reason for the lights is if there is not enough slack on the ABS hose (depending on where you mount it) when turning your wheel left or right...that will definitely set it off.

To think of it, i think the lights turned on right when i turned the steering wheel to the right and heard some weird noise. thought it was just the shocks breaking in. ill check tmrw morning again. thanks a lot
