IS 300 Front Rotor Removal
Does anyone have any advice about removing IS 300 rotors? I pulled the wheels and calipers only to find the rotors seemed to be attached to the bearing hubs with what looks like 7mm Allen screws. Never seen this before and man they look rusty. I'm soaking the now with WD, but boy I sure hope they don't strip out.

Wow after taking another quick look, I don't think they are Allen screws, could they be star bits? This is crazy, heck the wheel could fall off, but don't worry about the rotor it will still be there!!!.. great like I need the rotor now that the wheel is gone.
Heck it just turns out they are nothing, run 12mm screws into the two central holes and it pops right off. Just fooled me for a minute because the new hubs have larger holes making it appear something has to be removed.

ya same thing happend to me when i got my crossdrilled and slotted on i just looked at it puzzled for a few minutes. if you really think about it those are handy so you dont have to hit it with a hammer or anything.

There are two treaded locations for pushing the rotor off of the hub. It is metric threading as well. I will find the size and post. Spraying WD 40 in the vent slots on the rotor will help free it up also. This always happens to me with cars.
